Abyss Grinder

Effective date: July 1st, 2026  ยท  Last updated: July 1st, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ANIMATED BREATH (“we”, “us”) handles information in the mobile game Abyss Grinder (the “Game”) on iOS and Android. The Game is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.

The short version

  • We don’t sell your personal data.
  • Your scores, settings, and cosmetics are saved on your device, not on our servers.
  • We show rewarded ads through Google AdMob, which collects advertising and device data to serve and measure ads.
  • We use Unity’s crash diagnostics to find and fix bugs.
  • You control ad personalization through the in-app consent prompt and your device settings.

1. Information stored only on your device

The Game saves the following locally in your device’s app storage. It does not leave your device and we never receive it: high scores and best depth, audio / vibration / control settings, owned and equipped cosmetics, unlocked motions and artifacts, and tutorial progress. Deleting the Game removes this data.

2. Information collected through third-party services

The Game includes two third-party services that may transmit information off your device.

a) Advertising โ€” Google AdMob

To show rewarded ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google your device’s advertising identifier, IP address (used to estimate approximate location), ad interactions (such as ads viewed and taps), and device and diagnostic information. Google uses this to serve and measure ads, limit how often you see them, personalize ads where permitted, and prevent fraud. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

b) Crash diagnostics โ€” Unity

To diagnose crashes and errors, Unity’s diagnostics collect a unique installation identifier together with crash and exception reports (such as error logs and basic device information). This is used only to identify and fix problems in the Game. See Unity’s Privacy Policy.

We do not operate our own analytics server, and the Game does not use Firebase.

3. How we use information

4. Advertising and your choices

On first run, and where required by law, the Game shows a consent prompt managed through Google’s User Messaging Platform that lets you choose how ads use your data. On iOS, the Game also uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, ads are not personalized using your device’s advertising identifier.

You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and Apple Advertising; Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads), and manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers described above (Google and Unity) for the purposes described, and where required by law.

6. Data retention

On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the Game. Data processed by Google and Unity is retained according to their respective policies.

7. Children’s privacy

The Game is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with such information, contact us at leafboat.js@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at leafboat.js@gmail.com. You can withdraw ad-personalization consent at any time through the in-app privacy options or your device settings, and you can request deletion of advertising data associated with you. For data held by Google or Unity, you may also use their respective privacy controls.

9. Security

Data transmitted by the advertising and diagnostics services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we and our providers take reasonable measures to protect information.

10. International users

The Game is available internationally. Information handled by Google and Unity may be processed in countries other than your own, under the safeguards described in their privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above and posting the revised policy at this URL.
